The Accordia Project
Rundum Mier is one of the best-in-class, Stirling Prize-winning new building projects(2009). The project had put to use Rundum Mier sliding timber garage doors for about 60 properities.
Rundum Mier worked in collaboration with leading architects for constructing the design. They completed the design by making use of high-quality rift-sawn larch.
This was a moment of pride for Rundum Mier, to have their doors featured on the front cover of Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) for their ’09 publication.
Another great pride for Rundum Mier was the moment it got featured in a Sunday Times article for the Accordia Project. The architects responsible for the Garage Door design are Alison Brooks and Maccreanor Lavington. These talented architects utilized vertical timber slats that slides on open and has rounded corners.
