Due to the non-linear garage, a unique garage door was needed where the finished design closed in a concave shape. The door mounted motor with tongue and groove oak panels, allowed for the stylish, slatted garage door with pedestrian opening.

The UK’s most prestigious award for Best New Building – Rundum Meir Original garage doors build on more than 60 properties that were hailed as the Best New Building Project of 2009.
Architects Alison Brooks and Maccreanor Lavington commended Rundum Meir for ‘doing something epochal: they have made garage doors look good. They do this by making them out of vertical timber slats that open sideways and round a corner’.
